Vaderland in 'Portrait of a river'
You can find our nature-inclusive farm in Nederwetten, on the Dommel river. Last autumn, the organisation Rivers are Life filmed a beautiful portrait of the Dommel. Our Vaderland, along with the Dommel Water Board and Van Gogh National Park, plays a major role in the production.
By watching this documentary, we want people to feel how important water and the Dommel river are. And that change and collaboration are essential if we want to realise the economic ambitions and our ambitions for the restoration of nature and biodiversity.

Restaurant
We serve a full evening meal every Friday night with accompanying wines or alcohol-free alternatives. Everything is based on the bountiful harvest from our market garden.
Taste the rich flavours of our dishes and be inspired by our story.

It is full of untreated, fresh seasonal vegetables and ready-made delicacies prepared by Joep. And a display case full of delicious dishes.
You can also order takeaway meals, like our sharing menu, a vegetable box and organic wines. Visit our shop on Friday from 12-5pm and Saturday from 10am - 2pm.

Our dream
Together we are Vaderland; a gastronomic circular farm and experience in one.
We take care of the land, invest in the soil and the biodiversity. Our reward is a rich harvest. Vaderland is a place to reconnect with your nature. A place where you can experience real life with all your senses. We blend traditions from the past with today’s insights. We process the vegetables from our own market garden into pure and honest dishes. Here we celebrate the cycle of giving and taking.
Vaderland is all about making conscious choices and living together with nature, accepting that things don’t always have to be perfect. You can see this on the land, taste it in our restaurant, and in our shop.
