​Tijdens DDW’24 serveert Vaderland avondvullende diners in de kerk van Atelier NL, als onderdeel van de tentoonstelling Meanderende Maas. Dit diner nodigt je uit om de essentie te proeven van de vruchtbare bodem waarop Vaderland floreert. Elk gerecht is een kunstwerk, zorgvuldig samengesteld met eigen geteelde ingrediënten, en vertelt het verhaal van de kringloop van de natuur.

De gerechten worden geserveerd op het Maas KleiServies van Atelier NL, gemaakt van klei die afkomstig is van de oevers en uiterwaarden van de Maas. Je eet letterlijk van borden die afkomstig zijn van klei die is aangevoerd door de Maas. Deze verbinding tussen natuur en design komt zo op een bijzondere manier tot leven.

Kosten diner: 135€ p.p. inclusief alles; aperitief, passende wijnen en non-alcoholische dranken
Een vegetarisch menu is mogelijk. Bij allergieën doen we ons best om daar rekening mee te houden.

Vegetable box
Year-round produce from the land. Are you in?
We make a new vegetable box every week, with at least 6, usually 8 to 10 different kinds of vegetables and herbs, enough for 6 dishes. The box includes recipes for preparing the vegetables, inspiring you to cook healthy and surprising meals.

Price: from €22,50 per week you can enjoy fresh vegetables from our land for two people with inspiring recipes.

Volunteers
They (usually) come with a smile and find their way in the fields. Some prefer weeding, others enjoy sowing or harvesting. We mainly work outdoors in the fields, but there are also indoor tasks.
​
Some people come every week and find their place in our company. Others come occasionally for a breath of fresh air or to enjoy an outdoor workout. Some people prefer working in silence, while others seek social interaction. We are grateful for our volunteers.
​
Our volunteer days are every Thursday and Saturday. We start at 9am with coffee, enjoy a delicious lunch at 1pm, and usually finish around 3pm. Helping on other days or finishing earlier is also possible by arrangement.

Samenwerken met de Dommel
Onze natuur-inclusieve boerderij ligt in Nederwetten aan de Dommel. Afgelopen herfst is er door Rivers are Life een prachtig portret gemaakt van de Dommel. Daarin speelt Vaderland een grote rol, naast Waterschap de Dommel en Van Gogh Nationaal Park .
Deze docu laat zien hoe belangrijk onze verbinding met water en de Dommel is. En dat verandering en samenwerken noodzakelijk is om alle economische ambities én onze ambities voor het herstel van natuur en biodiversiteit waar te maken.

Location and nature development
You can find our farm in Nederwetten along the Dommel river. The farm has been in the family for five generations. But Vaderland is much more than just a farm. It is a vibrant place where nature is welcomed home and so are people. This beautiful place deserves to be seen and experienced.
We believe that true enjoyment goes deeper than superficial pleasure. Vaderland is all about making conscious choices, forging real connections, living in harmony with nature, and accepting that things don’t always have to be perfect.
