At Vaderland, we grow all kinds of vegetables and herbs so that we can enjoy produce from our own soil all year long. At the same time, we work towards restoring balance in our natural surroundings. We invest in healthy soil and biodiversity, operating without artificial fertilizers and pesticides. For us, this place is about much more than just food production. At Vaderland, nature is welcomed home, and so are people.
We are looking for a new, healthy balance. To celebrate the cycle of giving and taking. We enjoy the gentle breeze blowing through the fields and the rich earth beneath our feet.
Vaderland is a place to reconnect with your nature. A place where you can experience real life with all your senses: on the land, in the restaurant and in our shop.
Vegetable box
Year-round produce from the land. Are you in?
We make a new vegetable box every week, with at least 6, usually 8 to 10 different kinds of vegetables and herbs, enough for 6 dishes. The box includes recipes for preparing the vegetables, inspiring you to cook healthy and surprising meals.

Price: from €22,50 per week you can enjoy fresh vegetables from our land for two people with inspiring recipes.

Volunteers
They (usually) come with a smile and find their way in the fields. Some prefer weeding, others enjoy sowing or harvesting. We mainly work outdoors in the fields, but there are also indoor tasks.
​
Some people come every week and find their place in our company. Others come occasionally for a breath of fresh air or to enjoy an outdoor workout. Some people prefer working in silence, while others seek social interaction. We are grateful for our volunteers.
​
Our volunteer days are every Thursday and Saturday. We start at 9am with coffee, enjoy a delicious lunch at 1pm, and usually finish around 3pm. Helping on other days or finishing earlier is also possible by arrangement.

Location and nature development
You can find our farm in Nederwetten along the Dommel river. The farm has been in the family for five generations. But Vaderland is much more than just a farm. It is a vibrant place where nature is welcomed home and so are people. This beautiful place deserves to be seen and experienced.
We believe that true enjoyment goes deeper than superficial pleasure. Vaderland is all about making conscious choices, forging real connections, living in harmony with nature, and accepting that things don’t always have to be perfect.
